Spiritual Hostel on Inis Mor. Sli Aonghusa In Celtic Mythology, Aonghus was the God of love and the journey of the heart through, with and towards love is the inspiration and core belief behind the work of Deirdre Ni Chinneide through, music,workshop and retreat facilitation on the Aran islands, the mainland of Ireland and abroad. At times, it can help to get away from the busyness of our lives and to listen in a quiet place to the stirrings deep within our own heart. Inis Mor provides a sanctuary for the spirit and leaves the pilgrim feeling nourished and refreshed, returning to the mainland with a renewed sense of connection to the landscape of their own soul. This year Deirdre has decided to offer an invitation to fellow journeyers to visit and stay at Sli Aonghusa. She is opening the doors of a small spiritual hostel from May 1st to anyone who wishes to rest, write, pray, paint or sing or just walk and listen on the beautiful island of Inis Mor. Rooms are private and can be booked directly by ringing 087 6326081. Cost per night 35 euro (continental breakfast) Prayer and meditation will take place morning and evening at Sli Aonghusa and arrangements can be made for community dinner in the evenings on request.
